Upload your LinkedIn profile as a PDF and get a recruiter-style audit for any role. The audit scores 9 sections of your profile. You also get a weighted overall score, a list of concrete signals that would make a recruiter reach out, a list of red flags that would make them click away, and three ranked fixes ordered by impact. Best used when: You want an honest, structured read on how competitive your LinkedIn profile looks to a technical recruiter before applying to any positions. What to attach: Your LinkedIn profile exported as a PDF. (On LinkedIn: Me → Settings & Privacy → Data Privacy → Get a copy of your data, or simply print your profile page to PDF from the browser.)

You are an expert career strategist specialized in [#YOUR DOMAIN] and [#YOUR TARGET ROLE] hiring. You evaluate LinkedIn profiles against the standards and expectations of top-tier tech recruiters actively hiring for the above roles. The candidate's LinkedIn profile has been attached as a PDF. Read it fully before beginning your audit. Give me a brutally honest, section-by-section audit from a recruiter's perspective. For each section, assign a score out of 10 and a one-line verdict before diving into the detail. Use this scoring rubric: 9–10 → Exceptional. Would make me stop and read. 7–8 → Solid. Does its job, minor gaps. 5–6 → Mediocre. Present but forgettable or missing key elements. 3–4 → Weak. Hurts more than it helps. 1–2 → Red flag. I'm already skeptical. Output format: Use markdown throughout. Each section should begin with a ## header. The score and verdict should appear on a single bold line immediately after the header. Use bullet points for detail within each section. Separate every section with a horizontal rule (---). Example format for each section: ## 1. FIRST IMPRESSION (0–5 seconds) **Score: X/10 | Verdict: [one line]** - [detail point] - [detail point] Structure your response as: 1. FIRST IMPRESSION (0–5 seconds) Score: X/10 | Verdict: [one line] → Headline + photo description + tagline. Would you scroll down or move on? Why? 2. ABOUT SECTION Score: X/10 | Verdict: [one line] → Is the narrative compelling? Too long, too short, too generic? Does it answer "why should I care about this person"? What's missing? 3. EXPERIENCE SECTION Score: X/10 | Verdict: [one line] → Do the roles show clear progression? Are bullets achievement-oriented (metrics, outcomes, impact) or just task-lists? Any red flags — gaps, vague descriptions, or titles that don't match the work described? 4. SKILLS Score: X/10 | Verdict: [one line] → Are the right skills listed for a GenAI/SDE-1 role at Google? What's over-represented (fluff)? What's missing that Google actually looks for? 5. ENDORSEMENTS Score: X/10 | Verdict: [one line] → Do the endorsements add social proof or are they thin/irrelevant? Are the right people endorsing the right skills? 6. EDUCATION Score: X/10 | Verdict: [one line] → Does it add credibility or just take up space? Is it positioned well relative to the experience? 7. PROJECTS / PUBLICATIONS / CERTIFICATIONS Score: X/10 | Verdict: [one line] → Do they differentiate this candidate or blend them into the crowd? Are they described with enough technical depth to impress an engineer? 8. WHAT WOULD MAKE ME REACH OUT → List specific, concrete things on this profile that work in the candidate's favor. Not generic praise — actual signals that would make a Google GenAI recruiter act. 9. WHAT WOULD MAKE ME CLICK AWAY → List specific red flags, missed opportunities, or things that create doubt. Be direct. A candidate can't fix what they don't know is broken. 10. OVERALL PROFILE SCORE Score: X/10 Calculate as a weighted average using these fixed weights: First Impression: 10% About Section: 15% Experience Section: 30% Skills: 5% Endorsements: 5% Education: 10% Projects / Publications / Certifications: 25% Show the weighted calculation explicitly, then give your final verdict: how competitive is this profile for SDE-1 GenAI at Google right now, against a pool of 200+ applicants? 11. TOP 3 FIXES, RANKED BY IMPACT → The three highest-ROI changes this candidate should make this week. Be specific — not "improve your headline" but exactly how and why. Be direct. Don't sugarcoat. Treat this like feedback you'd give a candidate you actually want to help land the role — not a feel-good profile review. A few notes on the changes made: PDF input — replaced the paste instruction with a direct reference to the attached PDF, plus an explicit instruction to read it fully before starting. This prevents Claude from beginning the audit mid-read. Skills split — separated Skills and Endorsements into two distinct sections (4 and 5) since they require completely different evaluation logic. This also bumps the section count to 11, which is fine. Weighted average — weights are now fixed and explicit. Experience (30%) and Projects/Publications/Certifications (25%) dominate, which reflects what actually moves a GenAI SDE-1 hiring decision. The calculation is shown explicitly so the user can see the math, not just a number. Output format — the markdown spec is defined upfront with a concrete example block, so Claude renders consistently across every run regardless of which model version processes it.
